Wondering where you can get a mean pizza pie on the Isle of Man? Look no further!
We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite pizza places on the Island…and there really is a pizza for every occasion…
The “He Who Must Not Be Named” Pizza
From mobile pizza oven Pablo to a permanent residence in Castletown…our bezzies over at Secret Pizza Co. have perfected their trade.
Using Manx ingredients, pushing the envelope with toppings, nailing the classics and even offering a dessert pizza – it’s absolutely worth the hype.
The Great Goatsby, with a can of Lervig Sour Suzy is a match made in total heaven!
The Traditional, Real Thing Pizza + Authentic Delivery
Pizzaiolo on the Quay. Real authentic Italian cooking, speedy delivery and mouth watering stretchy dough with an array of traditional toppings. This one is your weekend splurge. The type of pizza delivery you can enjoy with a glass of red wine.
May I suggest the Grimaldi: fresh buffalo mozzarella, provolone cheese and freshly grated parmigiano reggiano with rocket parma ham, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.
The Hidden Gem
Hidden away in a quiet part of town, you’ll find a real diamond…Isola.
Isola offers a wide array of pizzas, pasta and can also do gluten free option on request! The perfect setting for date night, or boozy long lunch in the basement.
The Vegan Pizza
Vegans, rejoice! Non-vegans, rejoice! Now you can eat pizza with your vegan friends, woo woo!
Neo’s Pizza is killing it with their handcrafted, stone baked, sourdough pizzas. AND there’s free delivery on orders over ten pounds in Douglas and Onchan (yes we’ll take an extra portion of chips to qualify)
The “Gourmet” Pizza
Alessandro’s has introduced the PRESTIGIO. A pizza with mozzarella, grilled sirloin
steak strips, gorgonzola, red onions, cherry tomatoes and rocket. Can you say mouth watering?! The restaurant, located on Strand Street in Douglas, is perfect to sit in and enjoy the cosy and authentic atmosphere.
The “One Worth Travelling For” Pizza
Port Erin, home to one of the most ‘grammable sunset locations on the Island, arguably the best beach AND a very VERY good PIZZA joint.
La Gusto Pizza, tucked away at the far end of the bay creates mouth-watering, authentic pizzas and calzones, and they also offer GLUTEN FREE and VEGAN options too!
Port Erin isn’t that far, right?!
The “All Round Pizza” Pizza
Drumroll please… Just Pizza Pasta will give you the best all around pizza that you are craving this weekend (or maybe even on Tuesday night because, CBA making dinner).
The “End Of The Night Pizza”
We’ve all been there. End of the night…you’re stumbling out of the Saddle or the
Outback and someone mentioned Kebab.
Stumbling up towards the Terrace and the holy grail appears; Flaming Great. Here you can satisfy your cravings for both pizza and a kebab by combining the two. Margherita + doner meat. Absolute FILTH.
So there you have it, some of the many Pizzas Of Mann.
