So England may be out of the World Cup, but that doesn’t mean Sunday has to be miserable.
There’s loads of things going on around the Isle today…HERE’S A LIST (we like lists)
#1 World Cup Final
Heartbreakers Croatia take on France for a chance to become World Cup title holders. So dry your tears, brush the dirt off your England shirt and head to your local watering hole to soak up the last of the World Cup atmos for 4 years.
#2 Final stage of Tour de France
At 156.5 kilometers the 9th stage of the Tour de France is bound to be a spectacle, with the route running from Arras to Roubaix and playing host to a whopping fifteen stretches of ‘pavé’ (that’s cobbles to the English speaking amongst us!)
Cycle 360 Isle of Man will be screening the whole race, serving French 75 cocktails and French-themed brunch specials ‘til 3 pm. More info here.
#3 Douglas Carnival
It’s carnival season! The annual Douglas Carnival returns this Sunday, starting at 1:30pm.
Set to feature an array of creative floats, dance groups, fancy dress, fairground rides, live music and a craft market, you’d be silly to miss one of the biggest days in the Island’s capital!
#4 Men’s Wimbledon Final
Oh…has Wimbledon been on!? Better catch the final then!
Grab yourself a pitcher of Pimms and enjoy the Men’s Singles Final on Sunday, coverage starts at 11:30am.
#5 MannKind Festival
MannKind 2018 is a not-for-profit festival, taking place on Sunday from 11am to 9pm at Silly Moos Campsite.
Festival founder, Georgie Revill of the Cook Shack in Bride, decided last year it would be fabulous idea to hold a one day festival on the Island purely for those with learning differences and physical disabilities. For more information and last minute tickets, head here.
